Banding Day at PG&E
While the banding was going on, the adults were flying back and forth outside and making passes at me as I photographed the banding. I had two cameras, one with telephoto lens and one normal for the inside shots. I have included lots of repetitious in-flight photos to give you an idea of the dedication and energy the adults displayed. Also please note that I consider these photos photojournalism, not nature photography. When not documenting a banding, I adhere to the rules of NANPA. I do not disturb nest sites to get a shot of any bird. In other words, do not try this at home.
